Details of the Incident
On August 22, authorities located four bodies wrapped in plastic inside a truck parked in the San Andrés neighborhood of Guadalajara. The prosecution later confirmed the identities of the victims, which included Garibay, aged 32, her husband, 36, and their two children, aged 13 and 7.
Investigation Progress
According to the Mexican newspaper El Financiero, three men who were employed at a mechanic shop where the truck was discarded were apprehended, but were quickly released due to a lack of substantial evidence. Officials have stated that the investigation is still active, and as such, no motive for the incident has been disclosed.
