Kojima Productions’ Anniversary Event
Kojima Productions is gearing up to celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special livestreamed event titled “Beyond The Strand.” Scheduled for September 23 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills, the showcase will offer fans a unique glimpse into future projects and feature various special guests.
Hideo Kojima will take the reins as host for the event, which is expected to run for two and a half hours. Ticket sales are set to begin tomorrow for attendees eager to participate.

In addition to the anniversary festivities, Kojima Productions has two confirmed projects underway: a collaboration with Microsoft called OD and another named Physint in partnership with Sony. While Physint remains in its nascent stages—Kojima himself recently mentioned that he is currently the sole developer on the project—it seems more likely that OD will take the spotlight during the event.
OD, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, features horror director Jordan Peele as part of the team. Given Microsoft’s new multi-platform strategy, there is speculation that a PS5 version could also be in the works.
