The Powerball jackpot continues to rise, now exceeding $1 billion after no ticket matched all six drawn numbers. The current prize has ballooned to an estimated $1.30 billion for Wednesday night’s drawing, with a cash value of approximately $589 million.

$1 Million Ticket Sold in Revere

A ticket sold at Market Basket in Revere, Massachusetts, is a noteworthy winner, valued at $1 million. Additionally, four other tickets purchased in the state each won $50,000. These tickets were acquired at the following locations:

  • One Thirty Seven Gas in Harwich
  • Cumberland in Swansea
  • Cumberland in South Dennis
  • Rochdale Convenience Store in Marblehead

Jackpot Details and National Winners

The numbers drawn on Monday night included white balls 8, 23, 25, 40, 53 and the red Powerball 5, with a Power Play multiplier of 3. Nationwide, 10 tickets matched all five white balls, resulting in $1 million winners across various states, including:

  • California
  • Florida
  • Kentucky
  • Massachusetts
  • Michigan
  • New Jersey (2 tickets)
  • New York
  • Pennsylvania
  • Virginia

Two additional tickets, featuring the Power Play option purchased for $1 more, matched all five white balls and increased their winnings to $2 million. These lucky tickets were sold in Montana and North Carolina.

Historic Jackpot Runs

As Wednesday’s drawing approaches, it will mark the 41st consecutive drawing since the Powerball jackpot was last won on May 31 in California. The longest Powerball jackpot run recorded is 42 drawings, achieved on April 6, 2024, when a winner in Oregon claimed a $1.326 billion jackpot.
